Swimming pools in private homes

Planning a swimming pool in a private home is a matter that should be given importance from the initial planning stage. Its constitutionality should be checked: building lines, standard size, standard slope, etc.

Size does matter!
The pool is a very aesthetic element and many times in our projects, the pool is part of the planning process for a private home.
Therefore, when planning the home, we will try to have it seen from as many spaces as possible. When you want to plan an aesthetic swimming pool, it is worth planning it in an elongated form with a proportion of at least 1/3-2/3, this is so that the pool does not look like a "large bathtub". When the area of the lot is not large and there is no room for a large pool, it is still worth maintaining the narrow elongated proportion in order to obtain a proportion that is pleasing to the eye.

When installing it, it is also recommended to install a part called a floating floor for a home swimming pool. This helps maintain design beauty, maximum space utilization and durability over the years.

Customer Case Study – Deciding on the Location of the Pool According to Customer Needs
In the current house, the customer's first and foremost requirement for the pool was that it be a morning swimming pool. A swimming pool should be long so that it can function as a fitness element.

Therefore, when planning the house, we had to allow space in the area for such a pool, and we thought that the best way to do this on the given lot was to create an "R"-shaped house plan created by the kitchen and living room spaces, with both spaces overlooking the pool and embracing it.
