Family semi-detached house planning in different styles
This is a two-story semi-detached family home.
The chosen style of the house is Provence / gentle country, and the neighboring house is designed in a modern style. We faced a planning dilemma. The two styles contradict each other and it was important to clearly separate them so that the houses would look like two separate houses and not like two-family houses.
As a solution, we found a separation between the houses by means of niches in the design that make each of the houses look independent in the area.
We chose to implement the chosen style of the Provence / gentle country house by choosing rural elements such as: a tiled roof, bricks, a pergola, and windows in a design division. We chose all of the above elements in light and white tones. This choice of colors makes the rural elements, which usually feel heavy, feel lighter.
The Provence style design continues into the interior of the house in the design of the interior design, in the choice of materials, colors, and carpentry designs.
